1) Install Dfx using your installation CD or download Dfx HERE.
2) Double-click on the file that was downloaded and run through the installation process.
3) When prompted, select your Adobe/Photoshop/Plug-Ins folder as the installation location.
Note: If you are running a program other than Adobe Photoshop, you will need to select the Plug-In folder for your application.
4) Start Photoshop and load an image. From the Filter pull-down menu, select Dfx v1.0 from the Tiffen filter group. A dialog box pops up when you run Dfx.
5) Depending on what you purchased, select either the Dfx Select or Dfx Complete edition.
6) If you have internet access on the machine you are running the software on, select Activate and click Next. Choose Internet Activate and click Next. Enter or copy and paste your license number.
Note: This license number is good for only one computer at a time. You can transfer the license by deactivating on one machine and activating on another.
7) Press Activate. The Dfx interface opens and you are ready to go.
8) If you don't have internet access on the machine you are running the software on, select Activate using the self service website or Activate via telephone and follow the instructions.
