55mm and Digital Film Lab are now part of the Tiffen Dfx Digital Filter Suite distributed exclusively through The Tiffen Company.

 

On July 15th 2007, The Tiffen Company and Digital Film Tools partnered to launch Dfx Digital Filter Suite software. See press release.

 

The Tiffen Company has agreed to offer aggressive upgrade pricing to current 55mm v5-7.5 and Digital Film Lab Version 2.x customers. This offer is only good if Digital Film Lab was NOT purchased as part of a bundle.

Upgrade pricing is as follows:
55mm v5-7.5 Photoshop customers can upgrade to the DFX v2.0 Photoshop Version for $139.95.  Digital Film Lab v2.x Photoshop customers can upgrade to the DFX v2.0 Photoshop Version for $199.95.

55mm v5-7 After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Avid customers customers can upgrade to the DFX 2.0 for $199.95.
Digital Film Lab v2 After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Avid customers can upgrade to the DFX 2.0 for $299.95.

 

All current 55mm v5-7.5 and Digital Film Lab 2.x customers were sent an upgrade email that contained upgrade codes and a website URL to obtain the special pricing. A separate email was sent for every purchased copy.

 

If you have changed your email address or did not receive the email, DO NOT email or call The Tiffen Company in regards to the upgrade. Please email dftsupport@digitalfilmtools.com and in the subject line please say "Tiffen Upgrade Email".  You must also provide the current serial number that you are using for 55mm or Digital Film Lab and the email address or order number that was used to purchase it.
