Any Domke Bags Work for My Gear?

I was consider buying an F-2 (RuggedWear version) to carry my gear. The specs on the bag and the various inserts concerned me, however. It looks like the inserts are designed for smaller lenses than I carry.

I would like to be able to carry the following:

Canon EOS 5D
Canon 24-70 F2.8L with hood
Canon 70-200 F4L with hood
Canon 20 F2.8
Canon 550EX Speedlite Flash
Optional: Canon 2x II Extender

Am I reading the specs wrong? Has someone got a similar setup and figured out how to configure the bag to work?

Hello Biker.

I'm too new here to post a link or image but if you search google images for "domke f2" you should get a pretty good idea of what others are doing with just about the same setup.

The standard insert's pockets are small but I can fit my 80-200 2.8 Nikon with hood reversed in one. The wide angle F2.8s with hood are the problem. If you can get used to storing your hoods separate you will have no problem with the insert.

I use the 720-230 insert in my bags - takes the 24-70L, 70-200 2.8 IS L or 100-400 L with hood snugly. Usually I have 24-70 at one end, 70-200 at the other and my Sigma 15-30 in the middle. If the 5D is ungripped, it'll fit on its side with a long lens mounted in front of the insert; or you can mount it on the 24-70 and leave the combo on end in the insert.

I just got a new F2 last week.
can put inside my Nikon D2x, D3, 80-400, 24-70, 18-200, flash SB-800 and all the usual stuff around.
