Does the F-5XB ruggedwear have a padded internal compartment, not just the bottom but the sides as well?

The F-5XZ interior is 9.75 x 4 x 9.25. We can't make just one.

I've read some of the reviews, it bulks up but it doesn't look that bad.

are you by chance saying that a camera body 5.25" wide might fit

It should but its a reallly tight fit. What camera has 5.25" ?

I was looking at the size a D300 (H=4.5") will fit, D700 (H=4.8") will fit in reallllly tight (tried it in store with the demo :D its new so i expect it to expand a little). I haven't tried the 1DsmkIII (W=6.1") and D3 (H=6.2") or the D300 and D700 with grip.

Note: I usually store my camera sideways on my bag. I used 1Ds3's width since its smaller (H=6.2")

i recently bought a D90 with grip, love the D90 but needed the grip for my biggish hands, and also the grip makes it 101% more comfortable to hold
with the grip the height becomes 6" where as the width of the body remains at 5.25"
