Hello, I just received my first Davis and Sanford tripod, the Provista Airlift with F18 Fluid Head. I love everything about it, besides that the head has about 2cm of play when panning, even when the screw is at it's very tightest. This pretty much negates my entire investment as I will never be able to have a completely locked down shot, which will ruin photographs and video footage.
I would really rather not send this tripod back to B&H, so if anyone could help tell me how to tighten the head down on the center post to prevent this unwanted movement, it would be greatly appreciated. Could it be that the bolt directly beneath the head needs tightening? I have yet to find a tool able to fit in the small space between the head and center post.
