I've hear that the Sand looks the least like a camera bag. And doesn't get as hot out in the sun.

Olive

My mind was set on the Sand when I got my first Domke (the F-6), but the store was just out of stock. I had to get my order through quickly (a large order together with others), so I got the Olive one instead. The plan was to sell it later and get one in Sand, but when I got the bag and saw the color in real life... I had to keep it, it was just too nice.

Every new Domke since then have been Olive, but Iīm hoping that will change, as the next one will be in Wax Wear, preferably an F-3x.

I would also say that the Olive draws less attention than the Sand, if you donīt dress in light brown clothes all together.

My F1x is grey, and I have one F2 in navy and covered with aviation patches. All my others are sand (although I'd grab a grey F3x or F5x(something) if they were offered).

But I took mine in sand, it's really the best colour to me

I would say itīs got a shiny, deep color when new. I always give my bags a wash (about 40 deg.) which tone down the color and kills most of the shine. It also softens up the canvas in a nice way. The result is what you could call a nice dull green, yes.

Green F-6

I have two green Domke bags. My F-6 has faded nicely over the years. My F-2 is almost brand new and still has that deep dark olive green to it. I'm not sure my F-6 was ever that dark but it's been ten years since I bought the F-6, so it has had some time to fade!

I'd love to see a picture.
