Quick release assembly for FM18 head
 

I have the D&S Provista 7518B with an FM18 head and I'm looking for a quick release assembly to match that of the head, so I can easily switch my camera between the tripod and other mounts without changing plates. I tried the Calumet quick release assembly, but it's much smaller than the FM18. Do you know if there are any out there that match the FM18 plate size? Does Tiffen sell that quick release assembly part of the head separately?

Jason, thanks for the quick reply, but it's not the plate I'm looking for. I want a "quick release assembly" or "quick release adapter" that I can attach to other video-making equipment so that the quick release plate I already own, from the Provista Tripod, will fit everything. Do you sell anything like that? Do you know of any third-party sellers that sell a product that fits the Provista plate?

Sorry but the only component available for the FM18 head is the quick-release plate as described in my last reply. The entire assembly to be used in the manner you suggest is not available. Sorry for the inconvenience. Best regards, Jason Schneider

You are correct that the head is affixed with a 3/8-inch screw. You can order extra QRBHQ8 quick-release plates for yo9ur BHQ8 head by contacting your Tiffen dealer or calling Tiffen at 631-273-2500. Best of luck, Jason Schneider
