In the wash
After dragging my J-1 nylon bag through the rainy mud over the weekend, the recommended "damp cloth" won't cut it. Can I bag it in an old pillowcase and drop it in the washer?
Thanks Paul |
Sorry, you can only put our canvas bags in a washing machine. A wet cloth is the best I can recommend.

Have never bothered washing my J1, but can’t see any reason why a gentle hand wash would be a problem?

Again, I really only recommend a damp cloth. If you decide to go any further with it, let me know the outcome. Good Luck.

only canvas
I can´t really say about the nylon bags, but I´ve washed all of my canvas bags with "Nikwax TX Direct Wash-in" with great results.
I´m sure the bags will look worn in after a year, but giving them a spin in the washer gives them this look and the nice softness almost instant. I´m sure that I´ll pick up a nylon bag sooner or later, but I really like the smooth and hugging canvas :) |
