Domke gripper strap help
 

i am in need of your help once again.
i am interested in getting a gripper strap for my D90 with grip and 18-200 lens.
i do not have access to seeing one in person, but i realised it comes in 1" & 1.5" widths.
which size would be more appropiate for my gear

Hi Dave,
With the battery grip I personally recommend the 1.5".

As a broad rule of thumb you might say that the more weight you're carrying on your shoulder the wider the strap, as the wider strap will distribute that weight over a broader area.

As Andrea recommended, go for the 1.5“ width.

found the 1.5" was sounding a bit wide, so i ordered the 1", and it is perfect.
the rubber grips on it is a lot heavier than on the F3X rugged wear bag strap
Should this be so ?

i guess that this means that my recent F3X rugged wear purchase did have quality control problems, as being mentioned

They are both correct, we use them both. The webbing is manufactured by two different companies, but we feel the quality of both are acceptable.

quality was not a problem
the day i got this bag, i checked everything over and over to make sure this time it was genuine, and now i can say
mine is genuine ,and is 100 % free of any quality control issues
