Default Combat photos

C'est bien, interesting cover shot with the soldier in the foreground out of focus to make blurb readable.

What gear did you carry with you?

Thanks for uploading the photos!

Jim

Thanks Jim,
I was very heavy with backpack (ration, water, sleeping bag). Vest (17 kilos) and helmet. So only one camera (Nikon D3) with small zoom (28-85). The F2 was in the Armored personnal carrier. In that action (cover picture), a soldier was wounded in the green zone just ahead.
One was already killed and three other wounded 500 meters from that point.

Very interesting Arnaud...

Do you have a website where I could see some of your work?

Sorry not. but you can find pictures of me by doing 'belga pictures' and then 'arnaud beinat' on the high left window.
That's the belgian agency which is selling my pictures in belgium. You don't need a password for that one.

Just put 'beinat afghanistan' or 'beinat irak' and you'll find the pictures.
The count is ending at 800 pictures but in reality it's around 6000.
