Default Tripod Travel Advice

Hello everyone! I am flying to Singapore in a month, and I am travelling LIGHT. I will be spending 2 weeks in Singapore and will try to explore the country. Is it advisable to bring a tripod (weighs 8-10lbs) or should I buy a tripod in Singapore? Thanks!!

Default The ideal travel tripod

Hi, Rather than tote a fairly heavy 8-9-pound tripod or buy a tripod in Singapore, we suggest you bring along a Davis & Sanford Traverse tripod, which weighs only 3.3 pounds, folds to under 20 inches with BHQ8 ball head, extends to 57 inches for convenient eye-level viewing, and has a load capacity of 8 pounds. It's one of the best travel tripods you can buy and it has a street price of around $170. Best of luck and have a great trip! Jason Schneider
