Fake Domke Bag

Hi everybody,

I always loved the look of the Domke bags, so a few months ago I decided to buy one. I live in a region of France where it's just impossible to find a Domke dealer, so I bought one from a canadian seller on ebay called photococan (a friend bought a Lowepro bag from them and told me they were serious).

Anyway, I was wondering, since I saw on this website that there were fake Domke bags, if there was an easy way to see if my bag is a real Domke? (I don't know, the zipper (it's written YKK, a little h, USA and 5CN on one of them), some materials, a number somewhere?)

If you go to Paris you can get some real ones. May be better than a fake from overseas. Espacially from Asia.
I saw a rare blue F2 in south of France a few weeks ago.

Just so you are aware, there is a dealer in France called Prophot who sell all Domke bags. They are a 5 minute walk from Gare du Nord

Sorry it's been so tough to find a Domke bag. The best way to tell if a Domke bag is real are the YKK zippers.

We did suspect that this one was real. If this is an F-6, you should also have a tag that has TF and then a number.

Yes it's an F-6, I forgot to mention it ;)

Unfortunately I cut the tags except the one that says "Made in USA"

But on what's left of it I can see the number "136058"
