Default Are most tripods universal and compatible with each camera?

I have a panasonic TM900 camcorder and I am looking for the right tripod, however panasonic don't make tripods so I don't know which one to get for filming?

Default Ideal tripod for lightweight camcorder

Hi, Since your Panasonic TM900 weighs around 2 pounds, we would recommend the new Davis & Sanford Fusion tripod as an excellent choice that's compact but very sturdy and stable. It extends to an eye-level height of 61 inches, folds to 24 inches for easy portability, has a maximum load capacity of 8 pounds, and comes with a 3-way fluid-effect pan/tilt head for smooth panning action. The suggested price is $60. Best of luck, and good shooting, Jason Schneider
