WOW! We were at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) last week where we unveiled our Steadicam Smoothee . It was selected by many as one of the two best technological advances in Consumer Electronics and Accessories along with 3D Television. Tiffen was honored by receiving the 2010 CES International Innovation award for the Steadicam Smoothee. The excitement continued from the opening bell on the first day until after the show closed four days later.
What we discovered was what we suspected all along. There are a lot of people in the world using the video in Iphones, Droid Phones and the FLIP cameras for productions. The Smoothee is the right product at the right time and fills a need to not only eliminate the shakes but provide a real professional production tool for these devices.
