Gear, a line of over 100 photo accessories made by The Tiffen Company under
license from Eastman Kodak Company, now includes a series of six precision
rotary trimmers under the Professional line. The versatile KODAK Gear
Professional M3 Series Trimmers can trim delicate laminates, tissues, films, and
photographic and digital printing papers, as well as heavier cardboard and litho
plates. They can cut material up to a 1/8" thickness easily and accurately,
and can also precisely trim dry-mount tissue to hairline tolerances.
Each of the new models has a hand-contoured blade housing with an exclusive Comfort Grip that makes repetitive work less fatiguing. The blade housing covers the cutting blade completely, making KODAK Gear Professional Trimmers the safest choice for schools, darkrooms, self-service print stations, and busy, high-production labs. The trimmer’s cutting blade is self-sharpening to provide years of precision cutting. Its extruded aluminum alignment scale is factory-locked to be perfectly square to the blade edge. On the alignment scale, measurements are provided in both inches and centimeters and the trimmer’s baseboard is printed with a registration grid laid out in 1" squares. The slide guide supplied with the M3 Series trimmers ensures accurate same-size cuts without repetitive measuring.
Model sizes range from 12" to 54", indicating the maximum length that can be cut. KODAK Gear Professional M3 Series Trimmers are made entirely in the U.S.A. and are backed by a ten-year warranty. Suggested list prices range from $289.95 up to $719.95.
