Domke®  Adds F-3 Backpack to Existing Line

Hauppauge, NY, April 14, 2008 - Domke, a division of The Tiffen Company, has added a new dimension to its popular F-3X Super Compact bag - it’s now a backpack!  Boasting the same features as its predecessor, the new F-3 Backpack is ideal for those who prefer the compact styling with additional storage and carrying option.

The F-3 Backpack is the bag to grab when the assignment doesn’t call for lots of equipment. The bottom of the bag is configured exactly like the F-3X Super Compact bag, with extra room at the top for accessories or personal items. Keeping with the Domke look and style, we’ve used the familiar Domke cotton canvas, cotton webbing, large pockets, YKK zippers, and metal hardware. A comfortable foam padded harness with waist and sternum strap helps distribute the weight for comfortable carrying.

Eight compartments and pockets provide ample storage.  A padded bottom adds cushioned support and keeps equipment safe and dry. A removable padded partition provides separation of its contents.
Rugged, roomy, lightweight and versatile, the Domke F-3 backpack is made of soft, supple, heavyweight, water-resistant, cotton canvas.  This material breathes, minimizing the risk of condensation, an important feature with today’s electronics.  Its smooth, soft texture is friendly to both equipment and clothing. The fabric is naturally water-resistant, and includes a repellent treatment in the dying process for an extra measure of protection.  As your Domke Bag ages, it softens and wears like a favorite pair of jeans.
Indestructible steel snap hooks (a Domke hallmark) with welded steel rings, secure the main weather flap.  It’s the toughest, most reliable, pilfer-proof yet quick-operating closure short of a padlock. Zippers on each compartment offer added security for your equipment.
Domke bags are the preferred choice of the White House Photographer’s Association.
